If you’re somehow confused about what country we live in, look at tonight’s lineup, which features American Idol, America’s Next Top Model and American Experience. One of these series needs to figure out a way to feature America Ferrera.

America’s Next Top Model:Entertainment Weekly cover girl Tyra Banks begins “cycle” 10 of her model-search show, with Paulina Porizkova taking over Twiggy’s seat at the judges’ table and no North Texas representative among the top 14. 7 p.m., KDAF/Channel 33
Some Like It Hot: You think, “Oh, the great comedy starring Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis as guys who hide out in drag in an all-girl band while running from gangsters, with one of Marilyn Monroe’s best performances.” I think, “Oh, great, now I have that Power Station song from the ’80s stuck in my head.” 7 p.m., TCM
