Can the Ds take a page out of Nixon’s book? No one I know blames Nixon for “losing” the Vietnam war. In fact, pulling out was a campaign promise.

  2. Elsie Says:

    No, we blame liberals first.

  3. Allyn Says:

Of course they did. Mattel is no longer a real company, it’s only US employees are middle management and up. They’re essentially licensed middlemen, and if the wholesaler revokes their license they are fucked.I’m surprised they didn’t get down on their knees and literally fellate the chinese during a press conference.

  4. Annabelle Says:

just a suggestion (and for in the future) - instead of borrowing way beyond their means to send their children to better schools - why not get a home in a comfortable (and affordable) neighborhood, and send the kids to private schools? It would be cheaper in the long run, and the education would be better than an inferior school. On that note - school taxes were only about 1200/year where our home was (sold it about a month ago). My friend lives in an area where despite the houses only being valued in the 140k range - her school(only) taxes are 3500. Her total property taxes run about 7k. I told her if I died, she was getting my kids, because with taxes like that, they must have some jamming schools.

  5. Vera Says:

Jesus fucking tap dancing christ. You’ve got to be shitting me. They really just left the troops hanging out to dry. That’s just fucked up.

  6. Davie Says:

The Dems weren’t the ones who pushed for the invasion. Ultimately, the idea and its execution are the baby of the Republicans–no matter what they want us to think.

  7. Mora Says:

It appears that they have acknowledged their mistakes. Although I don’t want to dismiss any of their transgressions, in contrast to the direction the country is going, they should be applauded for their honesty.

  8. Inigo Says:

Are you fucking kidding me? You’re telling me that our Secretary of Defense did not know CENTCOM was ordered to leave Iraq?Fuck you.
