Think You Can Eat Right Easily? Try the Food Quiz
March 31st, 2008
Raleigh, N.C. — Decisions, decisions. It’s not always easy to choose what you want to eat, and it’s even harder when you’re trying to eat as healthy as possible.
Here’s a fat-and-calorie food quiz that might help show what a challenge it is to make the best choices.
Here’s a question to think about: What’s healthier to eat – a Ruby Tuesday Triple Prime Burger or the restaurant’s Parmesan Shrimp Pasta?
Don’t know? Don’t feel bad. Even with all of the nutrition information we can get these days, foods you might think are healthier actually may not be, especially when you eat out.
Exercising and eating healthy go hand-in-hand, but staying busy also might mean eating on the run – and that can pose a real challenge.
What looks like a healthier choice may not be.
So, here’s your quiz.
Question 1: Which has more fat and calories – three Big Macs or Uno’s deep-dish individual mushroom pizza?
Think it’s the burgers? Nope. Wrong! Uno’s Web site shows the deep-dish individual ‘shroom pizza has 2,070 calories and 159 grams of fat. The three Big Macs, which few people would ever eat at once, have 1,620 calories and 87 grams of fat.
"People need to pay attention to serving size. On Uno’s Web site, the information says that an individual pizza is actually three servings," Consumer Reports’ Maxine Siegel said.
Question 2: Wendy’s large chili versus its chicken and BLT salad, with croutons and honey mustard dressing. Which has the bigger calorie count?
The salad. The chili has 330 calories and nine grams of fat, while the salad has 650 calories and 44 grams of fat.
Last Question: This is the breakfast stumper: Which has more fat and calories ― a Krispy Kreme chocolate-iced doughnut with sprinkles or a Dunkin’ Donuts corn muffin?

No…but abstinence should be emphasized in any sex education class but by no means should it be the only thing taught. That isn’t very realistic.

I don’t know about everyone else, but personally, my problem is just with the “only.” “Abstinence Preferred” sounds great as long as it has a good attitude (i.e. it encourages self-esteem and care, but is not anti-sex.)

Abstinence reduces the amount of people having sex, but those that do are unprotected.Sexual education means more kids have sex and in a safe manner so nobody gets sick or pregnant. It’s win win unless your a religious nut who thinks fun and ejaculations are dirty sins against god. That said, the right wing want to STOP kids having sex at all so their way does support their goals. Bastards.

I think that basically comes down to maintaining healthy relationships. Date people you respect and trust, and you won’t have to worry about it.And hey, if someone enjoys casual sex without a relationship attached, I certainly won’t tell them it’s wrong to think that.

This is one case where a new post might have been better, to avoid the baggage of the old post? It’s 5 points right now, with my upvote counted, but the EDIT was very good, worth much more than 5 points.

I thought it was pretty obvious he was joking.
